The Independent Petroleum Producers Group (IPPG) on the 3rd of July, 2021 honoured the Chairman of Bedrock Foundation and former CEO Platform Petroleum Limited, Engr Osariemen Owieadolor alongside 13 other distinguished leaders in the Nigerian Oil and Gas industry. The gala nite was one of the pre-events of the 2022 Nigeria Oil & Gas (NOG) conference in Abuja. It was put together to celebrate and recognise leaders (ex-CEOs/EDs) from indigenous companies who contributed immensely to the growth of the oil & Gas industry. They were also pioneer founders of the IPPG group in 2015. Particularly, former MD/CEO of Platform Petroleum, Engr Osa Owieadolor was one of the founding members of IPPG and served as one of the pioneer members of the Governance Council of the group from 2015 till May 2021 before proceeding on retirement. 

Engr Osa Owieadolor received this award alongside 13 other industry icons which included the Pioneer Chair of Seplat, Dr ABC Orjiako, Pioneer CEO of Seplat, Austin Avuru, Abdulrasaq Isa of Waltersmith, Dr. Tunde Afolabi of Amni International and Layi Fatona, Pioneer Managing Director of Niger Delta E&P. others were Danjuma Saleh, Charles Odita, Oluseye Fadahunsi, Adebayo Ayorinde, Ignatius Ifelayo, Ebiaho Emafo, Pade Durotoye and Dr Ladi Bada. 

The Royal fathers of the day were Emir of Bichi, Nasiru Ado Bayero and Etsu Nupe. Other dignitaries who graced the occasion were top leaders of the industry such as - GMD NNPC, Mele Kyari; Executive Secretary of NCDMB Mr Simbi Wabote; Chief Executive of NUPRC, Gbenga Komolafe; SPDC Country Chair, Osagie Okunbor; Seplat CEO, Roger Brown; Chairman NNPC board, Mrs Okadigbo; OPTS Chairman, etc. 

The IPPG is an umbrella body for indigenous Petroleum Exploration and Production (E&P) companies in Nigeria, comprising of about 25 members.
